The proprieter of this interesting blog of the Secular Order Discalced Carmelites in Belfast (phew!)<\/a> sends along a link to a kerfuffle related to Catholic schools in Northern Ireland – there’s been a suggestion to set aside one of the (what we would call) in-service days to study what a Catholic school is all about…and some are annoyed.<\/a><\/p>\n

Amy has written columns for Our Sunday Visitor and Catholic News Service at times over the past twenty years. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
