Yesterday, I had the pleasure of briefly meeting up with two visitors- Daniel Arasa and Diego Contreras –  from Opus Dei’s Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Santa Croce) <\/a>who have been traveling the country, picking various people’s brains about the teaching of journalism, communications and so on.<\/a> <\/p>\n

They’d been at OSV the day before, and were flying out to DC yesterday morning, so I met them at the coffee shop of Fort Wayne "International" Airport for a bit before their flight – we talked about blogs, publishing, press coverage of religion in the states, and the completely unknowable future of all media..<\/p>\n

Diego has a blog here – it’s in Spanish, but Babelfish does a decent translation of his posts, which are interesting snapshots of their meetings with various folks and  travels around this country<\/a> of great big coffees….<\/p>\n
