{"id":6226,"date":"2006-08-30T09:53:16","date_gmt":"2006-08-30T09:53:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.beliefnet.com\/viamedia\/2006\/08\/from-santa-croce-to-fort-wayne.html"},"modified":"2006-08-30T09:53:16","modified_gmt":"2006-08-30T09:53:16","slug":"from-santa-croce-to-fort-wayne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/viamedia\/2006\/08\/from-santa-croce-to-fort-wayne.html","title":{"rendered":"From Santa Croce to Fort Wayne"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday, I had the pleasure of briefly meeting up with two visitors- Daniel Arasa and Diego Contreras &#8211;&nbsp; from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pusc.it\/inglese\/homepage_ing.html\">Opus Dei&#8217;s Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Santa Croce) <\/a>who have been traveling the country, picking various people&#8217;s brains about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pusc.it\/inglese\/communication.htm\">the teaching of journalism, communications and so on.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;d been at OSV the day before, and were flying out to DC yesterday morning, so I met them at the coffee shop of Fort Wayne &quot;International&quot; Airport for a bit before their flight &#8211; we talked about blogs, publishing, press coverage of religion in the states, and the completely unknowable future of all media..<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laiglesiaenlaprensa.com\/\">Diego has a blog here &#8211; it&#8217;s in Spanish, but Babelfish does a decent translation of his posts, which are interesting snapshots of their meetings with various folks and&nbsp; travels around this country<\/a> of great big coffees&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>The basic question is, of course&#8230;how to spread the Good News? Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
