Now that I’m praying the Divine Office in earnest (as opposed to piecemeal, when I could), the question has arisen again: why does the one volume edition of Christian Prayer have (on most occasions) longer scripture readings for Lauds and Vespers as compared to the four-volume set of the Liturgy of the Hours?" <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n
