TWo pretty good nights followed by one pretty dreadful one.<\/p>\n<p>The other issue is the baby cage: <a href=\"http:\/\/amywelborn.typepad.com\/photos\/spring_and_summer_2005\/climbingkatie.html\">seen in this photo<\/a>. Larger than your old-fashioned playpen. Should be good stuff. <\/p>\n<p>But no. He already hates it, and just stands there, clinging to the bars, weeping, and in good time, screaming. So, I realized, I&#8217;ve fallen back into old habits &#8211; the exact same thing I did with Joseph and this contraption. Fold it and use it as a barrier across the living room so he can&#8217;t go out into the land of Small Legos and Electrical Outlets. <\/p>\n<p>And he&#8217;s totally, absolutely happy. Same toys, not much more space&#8230;but no fences. I&#8217;m thinking it was the Arizona trip that did it. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
