This, of course, is the weekend on which we remember the Supreme Court decisions of Doe v. Bolton <\/em>and Roe v. Wade. <\/em>It is perhaps being remembered in your own community, but the two large gatherings are on the East and West Coasts.<\/p>\n

The March for Life in DC<\/a> – that link is to the Archdiocese of NY page on the events of this weekend, culminating in the march on Monday, but it’s far more useful than what’s available at the March for Life website itself. <\/p>\n

An important part of the DC events will be Silent No More – the presence of women who have had abortions.<\/a><\/p>\n

Much more on that, with, we can be sure, first-hand accounts, at After Abortion. Keep checking them through next week. <\/a><\/p>\n

Last year, the first March for Life on the west coast was held in San Francisco. It was quite a success, and will be repeated this year.<\/a><\/p>\n

I assume C-Span will be covering the DC march, as it always does<\/a><\/p>\n

EWTN will have complete coverage with interviews and is also running special programming, including a 3-part series featuring Steve Mosher on the challenges of building a global culture of life.<\/a><\/p>\n

Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
