You see good news and interesting journeys everywhere, if you just look.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I converted to Catholicism last December, nearly 5 years after my initial RCIA process.&nbsp; I have not been disappointed..&nbsp; I&nbsp; have so much to learn.&nbsp; I will always have so much to learn.&nbsp; What I have appreciated about Catholicism is that no one shoots you for that reality.&nbsp; No one holds it against you that you are on a journey.&nbsp; That has been my experience anyway.&nbsp; Coming from a evangelical fundamentalist background it has been such a relief to be allowed to own my humanity instead of feeling like I have to apologize for it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"http:\/\/asongnotscoredforbreathing.blogspot.com\/2005\/02\/getting-my-fix.html\">From this blogger<\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And then this, from a reader in Alabama:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 0.8em\"><span class=\"049391419-14072005\">Literarily, I have long devoured all of Walker Percy and O&#8217;Connor.&nbsp; I have just spent the past year reading Bouyer, Soloviev, Belloc, Balthasar, Newman, Chesterton, Neuhaus, Karl Adam, Adam Mohler, Ratzinger.&nbsp; And yes, they have thoroughly converted this Evangelical.&nbsp; I hope to be received into the church as soon as possible.&nbsp; It is very odd, but no less humorous, to &#8216;feel&#8217; more Catholic than most Catholics I have met.&nbsp; And I do now sense far more heavily the reality of this O&#8217;Connor&#8217;s Christ-haunted South. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
