There is nothing controversial about describing actions and attitudes of the past in context. He doesn&#8217;t say it was justifiable, or that Christians could never have done otherwise, made other choices. He says &#8211; in the place and position in which the Church dwelt, it was understandable. That&#8217;s what historians do. Amy has written columns for Our Sunday Visitor and Catholic News Service at times over the past twenty years. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
