Yesterday around here it was balmy; today the chilly wind would not let the mercury rise above 50 degrees. But something is falling even faster than the temperature in Missouri: support for Amendment 2, the clone and kill bill that would constitutionally protect embryonic stem cell research–the cold fusion of this new century.<\/p>\n

Polls that once showed support of 66 percent have now dropped to just 51 percent. With a week to go, this quickly downward trend would indicate defeat for the cloners.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n
