You all have heard about the bizareness related to Rev. Ted Haggard, president of the National Association of Evangelicals (well, make that former<\/em> president) and pastor of the New Life Church megachurch<\/a> in Colorado Springs. He has been accused of having a encounters with a male prostitue in Denver for the past 3 years. <\/a><\/p>\n

There’s a lot to question, of course – the timing would be the first thing, coming as it does less than a week before an election in which a marriage amendment<\/a> is on the ballot. Second is the sketchiness of the accuser’s evidence. However<\/em> – there’s this from late last night:<\/p>\n

Haggard denied the allegations made by Denver resident Mike Jones, and so far no conclusive evidence has verififed the claims. But KKTV reported late Thursday that acting senior pastor Ross Parsley said Haggard has admitted to some of the indiscretions. He did not say what Haggard admitted to, the station said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere has been some admission of indiscretion, not admission to all of the material that has been discussed. But there is an admission of some guilt,\u201d Parsley told the Colorado Springs station. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Who knows. There’s no point in commenting on the specifics until the truth is known. But what I will <\/em>comment on is this, sent to me by a Tampa Bay resident: the channel 10 story about Haggard on their website. The graphic accompanying the story?<\/a><\/p>\n
