For the next week, I think I&#8217;ll make that the focus here, with Rome notes taking second place. <\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll ease into this with a children&#8217;s book. I do this occasionally, since we go to the library twice a week and check out stacks of books. Once in a while, gold emerges, and I like to note them for those who are looking for such things &#8211; and you&#8217;re out there, I know it.<\/p>\n<p>This one appeared last week: <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/search.barnesandnoble.com\/booksearch\/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=uh1ypYvCme&amp;isbn=0152005498&amp;kids=y&amp;itm=5\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/i1.tinypic.com\/nxuoad.jpg\" width=\"260\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Too Tired by Ann Turnbull<\/p>\n<p><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s why I liked this one: it&#8217;s actually a Noah&#8217;s Ark book &#8211; and while there is no lack of Noah&#8217;s Ark books for children out there, this one&#8217;s a bit different. You can probably figure it out from the cover &#8211; the sloths are at the center of the story, and the problem is that despite the call to board the Ark, they&#8217;re just <em>too tired<\/em> and they won&#8217;t get moving. Cat fanciers might not be pleased, however, since while everyone else is quite concerned about the sloths&#8230;they really couldn&#8217;t care less. <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am dreadfully behind on my book reviewing and noting on this blog.
