Kyle!) <\/em>On which I &#8220;appeared&#8221; at 6:40 this morning. Was I coherent? I&#8217;m not really sure.<br \/>\nAnyway, they&#8217;re are doing great stuff down there, as are all local Catholic radio stations &#8211; it&#8217;s one of the wonderful growth areas in Catholic life these days, all over the country.<br \/>\nAnd I want to re-emphasize something from the other day &#8211; <em>it takes all kinds<\/em>. We need the kind of programming provided by more catechetically-oriented media, and that presented by more casual, Catholic lifestyle kind of programming. Plus, as I said, we need more, more, more of everything. Someone wrote me last night and said he&#8217;d sort of imagined being the Catholic Charlie Rose. I agreed, saying that I wanted to be the Catholic <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/radio4\/history\/inourtime\/\">Melvyn Bragg<\/a>\u00a0or <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/radio\/podcasts\/stw\/\">Andrew Marr<\/a>. While retaining my gender, of course. (And no, I don&#8217;t want to be the Catholic Diane Rehm. I don&#8217;t really like her style. These other two fellows are more objective and more intelligent and broadly knowledgeable.)<br \/>\nIn our Church, which encompasses Dominicans, Franciscans and Jesuits &#8211; Opus Dei and Communion and Liberation &#8211; we live and support the many ways in which the Spirit moves through human hearts, bringing us closer to the Lord.<br \/>\nMore!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was remiss the other day in not giving props to Sacred Heart Radio in Cincinnati &#8211; a great, relatively new Catholic station. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
