"The hopes of the church, whether it is the Hispanic community or various others, are in the work of the grace of Christ," he said. "And a bishop, a priest, everybody is kind of at the service of that. "I wouldn’t call the competition (with Protestant evangelical churches) a priority of mine. The priority in the church I think of a priest or a bishop is to kind of preach and propose the mystery of what the Catholic Church offers; the mystery of the sacraments, the mystery of the life and of grace, the mystery of the communal life of the church. And I see it as kind of the mission of the church and my mission as part of that is to kind of announce and help make effective the full commune of life and grace that the Catholic Church offers and then to invite. I think if we set about doing the good that Jesus asks us to do then by God’s grace people are attracted to that. So I would say that’s kind of my focus, upon doing the good that can be done in the life of the church.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
