Which has the baby so excited he cannot sleep. I am telling you – this baby has been up since around 5:30 AM, and hasn’t napped yet. I have no idea what’s gotten into him – perhaps he thinks the plane ride meant he would be back in Rome at the end of it. In that case, I should have brought the baby carrier and walked around the block, at which point he would surely drop off. <\/p>\n
This is quite strange, and while I should be preparing for this talk, my brain is full of various contigencies: will he experience meltdown while in the care of someone else while I’m talking ? Will he fall asleep for a bit and then be up all night? Hmmm. Thank goodness this is a talk I could give in my sleep at this point…oh, as I make it delightfully new every time..but of course!<\/p>\n
