Not a mention of this in the LA Times.<\/em> I guess they ran out of Catholic Space in reporting on the settlement. Not that I begrudge that reporting, and before anyone goes off reflexively on, "of course they’re biased" remember that up to recently, the Times <\/em>has been very <\/em>easy on the Archdiocese and not taken much interest in doing much investigative reporting at all. (I note that Larry Stammer, the mainstay of previous reporting on the Archdiocese in the paper, is missing from the bylines on the settlement stories.
