Gorman,<\/a> who is a Professor of Sacred Scripture and Dean of the Ecumenical Institute of Theology at St. Mary\u2019s Seminary &amp; University in Baltimore.<br \/>\n<em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0802839347\/spiritualthoug09\">Apostle of the Crucified Lord: A Theological Introduction to Paul and his Letters<\/a><\/em><br \/>\nand (I think)<br \/>\n<em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0802847951\/spiritualthoug09\">Cruciformity: Paul&#8217;s Narrative Theology of the Cross.<\/a><\/em><br \/>\nI was reminded of this, not just because of today&#8217;s feast, but because our friend Irenaeus over at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/catholidoxy.blogspot.com\/\">Catholidoxy\/Retractiones<\/a>\u00a0has been blogging a bit on the early Church and abortion, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Abortion-Early-Church-Christian-Greco-Roman\/dp\/1579101828\/ref=sr_1_1\/104-1294528-2396760?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1174732806&amp;sr=1-1\">inspired by Gorman&#8217;s early book on the subject, which is invaluable. <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve not read these books, but Michael has, and really been enjoying them. Amy has written columns for Our Sunday Visitor and Catholic News Service at times over the past twenty years. Her articles have been published in venues ranging from Our Sunday Visitor to the New York Times to Commonweal. She has written 17 books. 18, if you included the as yet tragically unpublished novel. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
