As some of you may know, Fr. Frank Pavone of Priests for Life is in the process of forming a Pro-Life society of priests, called Missionaries of the Gospel of Life<\/a><\/p>\n

The society will have a lay association, as Tim Drake describes in this NCR(egister) story:<\/a><\/p>\n

While Priests for Life does not yet have the specific prayers and spirituality worked out for the lay association, they are inviting those interested to contact them. According to Father Pavone, there will be two types of membership.<\/p>\n

The first is for those who are free of other obligations and want to join the society to do pro-life work on a full-time basis.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey will be able to apply for our formation program and receive the specialized pro-life training we will offer,\u201d Father Pavone said.<\/p>\n

The second is for those who are married or who have employment commitments incompatible with full-time, pro-life work.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey would make certain commitments to prayer, personal study and pro-life work to the extent that one\u2019s duties permit,\u201d Father Pavone said.<\/p>\n

Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
