Non-fiction, religion-type, Catholic books. Deadline: May for both.<\/p>\n<p>A few pamphlets.<\/p>\n<p>Varia.<\/p>\n<p>Over the next month, I want to finish the YA novel (3 chapters to go), send it off to people who might help me get it published, and then start on the next one. Not a YA novel, but the sort of mystery-themed novel I had started before the YA idea jumped into my head. I&#8217;ve spent the morning reading through the 15 chapters I have of the latter, and it&#8217;s not awful. There is one character I really need to flesh out more. He is supposed to be enigmatic, but he is a little <em>too <\/em>enigmatic at this point. There are points and themes that pop up early that I need to revive and explore and resonate more in the later stages. But at this point, I&#8217;m okay with what I have&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230;look for minimal blogging. Bookblogging, an interesting link or two. Go to other places for your extensive religion\/Catholic news &#8211; cause you&#8217;re not going to find it here &#8211; not that you have for a while, anyway! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;for the next five months. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
