All week, he&#8217;s been mildly confused about exactly <em>what <\/em>break this was, but most of the time settled on &quot;summer&quot; &#8211; especially when we were down south and it was hot. He remembered being told that after summer vacation, when he was five, he would go to a different school (our parish school &#8211; which doesn&#8217;t have a preschool). <\/p>\n<p>And, so&#8230;break is over. He&#8217;s five. <\/p>\n<p>Makes perfect sense to him, but it still breaks my heart to imagine how he must have been trying to sort through all of this on his own this week. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
