Interesting. <\/a><br \/>\nMarcel LeJeune has <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/marysaggies.blogspot.com\/2007\/12\/stamp.html\">collected some of the best blog postings on Advent from around the blogosphere. <\/a>Also check out Marcel&#8217;s &#8220;Catholic Evangelist&#8221; site &#8211; <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.thecatholicevangelist.com\/\">he is ready and willing to come speak to your parish or group!<\/a><br \/>\n<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/movies.nytimes.com\/movie\/419250\/Andrew-T-Miller-Birth-Of-Christ\/overview\">The New York Times knows it all:<\/a><br \/>\n<em>As originally performed in December 2004, composer Andrew Miller&#8217;s Christmas cantata he Birth of Christ dramatizes in choral form the story of the immaculate conception and the manger birth of Jesus as relayed in the Christian gospels.<\/em><br \/>\nThanks to Clare K for sending along <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pnte.cfnavarra.es\/elmundodejavier\/C5\/contenido_uk.htm\">this link to a nice site on St. Francis Xavier. <\/a><br \/>\nOh, and adding to the doc drop of last week &#8211; I&#8217;ll toss in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dioceseoftulsa.org\/images\/photos\/Bishop's%20letter%20B5B15.pdf\">this pastoral letter from Bishop Slattery of Tulsa on immigration, specifically on one piece of proposed legislation in the Oklahoma House. <\/a>(pdf). What most interested me were the first two and a half pages in which Bishop Slattery laid out the grounds of his authority to teach on this matter. I can&#8217;t remember ever reading such a specific, explicit statement like that in an episcopal pastoral letter in the recent past.
