Cottie<\/a>r is an 85-year old Dominican, elevated to non-voting Cardinal by John Paul II in 2003, Pro-Theologian Emeritus of the Pontifical Household, former Secretary-General of the International Theological Commission.
\nVanhoye is an 84-year old Jesuit, Scripture scholar, and former rector of the Pontifical Biblical Institute,\u00a0\u00a0who was made a non-voting Cardinal by Benedict in 2006.

Described by sources who have seen the text as an “extremely spiritual” document, the encyclical will be presented by French Dominican Cardinal Georges Marie Martin Cottier, former theologian of the papal household under John Paul II, and Jesuit Cardinal Albert Vanhoye, an emeritus professor of exegesis at the Pontifical Biblical Institute.
