He did not lose consciousness and<br \/>\neven continued with the blessing. But shortly after the service, the<br \/>\npain in his right hip grew more severe and he was taken to Loyola<br \/>\nUniversity Medical Center in Maywood in a private car.<\/p>\n<p> Though the injury was not serious and did not require surgery,<br \/>\nDolan said George would remain hospitalized for a few days of physical<br \/>\ntherapy and using a walker, so as not to apply pressure to his hip.<\/p>\n<p>\n&quot;He took a fall . . . in his exuberance with the holy water,&quot; Dolan<br \/>\nsaid. &quot;He was concerned when it started to hurt more. That is why he<br \/>\nwanted to check, and we&#8217;re glad he did.&quot;<\/p>\n<p><em>snip<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\nDolan said the accident came just when&nbsp; George seemed to have regained his strength. <em>(from his bout with cancer last year) <\/em><\/p>\n<p>\n&quot;I think his energy level had gotten stronger in the last few weeks.
