I did<\/em> have a line in that NYTimes <\/em>piece about good priests doing valiant ministry. But it’s one of the several lines that got cut. Just so you don’t think I’m all negative or anything. Not that anyone would ever get that idea from this blog.<\/p>\n

I also had a brief screed about homilies, saying that I found it rather bizarre that insuring that homiletics was being effectively taught is not part of the Instrumentum Laboris<\/em>. There was some bitter, edgy comedy gold there, I’m telling you.<\/p>\n
