In fact, the phone rang and I <em>knew<\/em> it was him. As you might know, the UT-LSU game, scheduled for Saturday was postponed until tonight. They flew in today, have gotten a few rooms at a hotel for the day &#8211; just for meeting and hanging out purposes. Christopher is trying to make the best of his time, reading for his Middle Eastern Studies class in the concierge lounge. Here&#8217;s the crazy thing, though. They charter a large plane for these trips &#8211; enough for the 250 who go (players, staff, hangers on) from the University. Everyone has to be checked by security before getting on the plane. He said that when they left Gainesville a couple of weeks ago, they got to the airport at midnight, but didn&#8217;t get out until after 2:30 am because there were <strong>two <\/strong>people to do security check on the 250 of them &#8211; personal searches, checking bags, etc. Insane.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;about the logistics of college football, post-Katrina and Rita: My son just called from Baton Rouge. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
