Well maybe he’ll be a decent Will Barrett – Bill Paxton has a vague emptiness at the core of his screen presence that just might work – he’s been tapped to star in a film adaptation of Walker Percy’s The Second Coming<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n

The novel is being adapted and directed by Donal Logue, whom I mainly know from his amiable turn in a film I rather liked<\/a>, The Tao of Steve – <\/em>he’s also starred in a sitcom and done other acting work. <\/p>\n

Well, I’m guessing it’s a labor of love since I’m fairly sure there’s not a big demand for Walker Percy adaptations from the studio end of things…we’ll see. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
