I&#8217;ll put it on the list. Sigh. The <em>long <\/em>list!<\/p>\n<p>I heard the author of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.ca\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0747579857\/spiritualthoug09\">this book &#8211; <em>Austerity Britain<\/em> &#8211; on <\/a>the BBC radio&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/radio4\/factual\/starttheweek_20070514.shtml\">Start the Week program a couple of weeks ago &#8211; (you can&#8217;t download, but you can listen online<\/a>). The book is 700 pages long, and not available in the US (you can get it through Amazon Canada), but it sounds like a fascinating rethinking of the post-war years in England. <\/p>\n<p>Oh&#8230;and you know all those <span style=\"color: #336600\">great General Audience talks<\/span><span style=\"color: #009933\">&nbsp;<\/span>on the<span style=\"color: #cc0000\"> Apostles<\/span>? Yeah, those? Well, <a href=\"http:\/\/michaeldubruiel.blogspot.com\/2007\/05\/popes-new-book.html\">they&#8217;re coming out in book form later this summer. <\/a>Now, if it were only necessary for the editor of this edition to confer with the author in person&#8230;..<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s our bestseller&#8217;s list.
