The fact that Europe fought immensely destructive wars over precisely these subjects for the best part of a century obviously escapes them. The arrangement we came to was that those who didn’t want Eucharistic Sacrifice and Transubstantiation should go to a Protestant Church and those that did would go to a Catholic Church. The soft focus PR collage of the youngest, handsomest priest liturgising, caring, and generally being a nice guy in twenty poses is sick-making (unless you are a sixty-five year old woman whose real son never visits).

This Aussie is scathing on the latest from We Are The Church IMWAC has published a call on their website for the Bishops gathered in Synod to drop the theology of Transubstantiation and sacrifice.
