As Augustine himself was to say, his mother gave birth to him twice; the second \u00a0time \u00a0required \u00a0a \u00a0lengthy \u00a0spiritual travail of prayers and tears, but it was crowned at last with the joy of seeing him not only embrace the faith and receive Baptism, but also dedicate himself without reserve to the service of Christ. <\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><em>How many difficulties there are also today in family relations and how many mothers are in anguish at seeing their children setting out on wrong paths! Amy has written columns for Our Sunday Visitor and Catholic News Service at times over the past twenty years. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
