A fourth of all European seminarians are Polish<\/a><\/p>\n

About a quarter of all young men training to become Roman Catholic priests in Europe are Polish. <\/p>\n

And Polish priests are increasingly in demand to plug the gaps in the rest of the continent. <\/p>\n

At the seminary in Lublin, in south-eastern Poland, there are 171 young men preparing for the priesthood. <\/p>\n

They are among 7,131 from all over the country. <\/p>\n

Amy has written columns for Our Sunday Visitor and Catholic News Service at times over the past twenty years. Amy has five children, ranging in age from 26 to 4 and was married to Michael Dubruiel, who died unexpectedly in February 2009.
