Don’t worry.Didn’t last too long, although it was, while it was going on, loud<\/em>. Practice was followed by a race of some other kind of car – the Porsches Paul Newman used to drive when he was racing – for which we stayed for about 10 laps or so, and which Michael very much<\/em> enjoyed:<\/p>\n

After which, this very short, and just-enough dose of racing, it was back up AIA to our place. We stopped for a late dinner, an experience which provided a Moment for the Ages.<\/p>\n

Joseph got up to do something he had been told not to do. In my inimitable confused, mother-of-a-few, list-them-til-you-get-the-right-one fashion, I said, by way of correction, "Michael!…..Joseph! Stop!"<\/p>\n

And at exactly <\/em>the same time, in unison<\/em>, (and in probably the same tone of voice) Katie said, "Michael!…..Joseph! Stop!"<\/p>\n

She was alternately in hysterics and deeply depressed, declaring repeatedly, "I need to hang out with new people…I need to hang out with new people…"<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
