I literally jumped out of the car and ran to the back yard to find their poor, over-dramatically wilted selves. Thankfully, after a good soaking, they were all perked up in a few hours. Don’t know how production will suffer, though. Cukes….well, between the groundhog and the lack of rain…I was finally defeated in my "jars of bread-and-butter pickles like Auntie used to make" fantasy.
