A Prayer for the People of Oklahoma<\/em><\/p>\n

Eternal God,<\/p>\n

We stand in shock and horror;<\/p>\n

Bring comfort to those who have lost–<\/p>\n

Those who have lost their loved ones, their homes,<\/p>\n

Their neighborhoods, their faith.<\/p>\n

Be with them–Let your outstretched arm<\/p>\n

Sooth them. Rebuild their hearts with hope,<\/p>\n

And grant eternal life to those who lost their lives on earth.<\/p>\n

Just as we are united in grief,<\/p>\n

Help us stay united in hope.<\/p>\n

As we comfort one another through the shadow of death,<\/p>\n

Help us strengthen one another in saving life.<\/p>\n

Be with us in our prayers, now and forever.<\/p>\n
