Since phones and internet are cut off to Burma, it may be assumed that events like this are widespread &#8230; <\/span><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">The incident happened at 12:30 am midnight when the military raided the monastery &#8230;<\/span> <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">We sit with our brothers &amp; sisters today &#8230;<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size:85%;\"><b>For one instance, the monastery at an obscure neighborhood of<\/b><br \/><b>Yangon, called Ngwe Kyar Yan (on Wei-za-yan-tar Road, Yangon) had<\/b><br \/><b>been raided early this morning.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>A troop of lone-tein (riot police comprised of paid thugs)<\/b><br \/><b>protected<\/b><b> by the military trucks, raided the monastery with 200 studying<\/b><br \/><b>monks. They systematically ordered all the monks to line up and<\/b><br \/><b>banged and crushed each one&#8217;s head against the brick wall of the<\/b><br \/><b>monastery. One by one, the peaceful, non resisting monks, fell to<\/b><br \/><b>the ground, screaming in pain. Then, they tore off the red robes<\/b><br \/><b>and threw them all in the military trucks (like rice bags) and took<\/b><br \/><b>the bodies away.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The head monk of the monastery, was tied up in the middle of the<\/b><br \/><b>monastery, tortured , bludgeoned, and later died the same day,<\/b><br \/><b>today. Tens of thousands of people gathered outside the monastery,<\/b><br \/><b>warded off by troops with bayoneted rifles, unable to help their<\/b><br \/><b>helpless monks being slaughtered inside the monastery. Their every<\/b><br \/><b>try to forge ahead was met with the bayonets.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>When all is done, only 10 out of 200 remained alive, hiding in the<\/b><br \/><b>monastery. Blood stained everywhere on the walls and floors of the<\/b><br \/><b>monastery.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Please tell your audience of the full extent of the fate of the<\/b><br \/><b>monks please please !!!!!!!!!!!!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>&#8216;Arrested&#8217; is not enough expression.
