Not at all, said the Buddha.    <\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: right;\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Instead,<\/span> <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">it&#8217;s sickness<\/span>, <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">but only when we refuse the condition<\/span> &#8230;<br \/>&#8230;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">old age<\/span>, <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">if we long for youth<\/span> &#8230;<br \/>&#8230; <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">death<\/span>, <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">because we cling to life &#8230; <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">&#8230; loss , when we cannot let go &#8230; <\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-style: italic;\">&#8230; violated expectations, because we wished otherwise<\/span> &#8230;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center;\"> Our &#8216;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">dissatisfaction<\/span>&#8216;, &#8216;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">disappointment<\/span>&#8216;, &#8216;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">unease<\/span>&#8216; and &#8216;<span style=\"font-style: italic;\">frustration<\/span>&#8216; &#8230; <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Dukkha &#8230; <\/span>arises as a state of mind, as our demands and wishes for how things <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">&#8216;should be&#8217; <\/span>or <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">&#8216;if only would be for life to be happy&#8217; <\/span>differ from <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">&#8216;the way things are&#8217;. <\/span><span>The gap is the source of <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Dukkha.
