The award winning <\/span>Wikiklesia Project<\/em> <\/span>(www.wikiklesia.org<\/a>)
\n<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/font><\/b>broke
\nnew ground as a crowd sourced,
\ncollaborative ecclesial publishing model. <\/span><\/span>Wiki One presented a “far
\nreaching exploration of spiritual journey contextualized within a
\nculture of increasingly immersive technology.”  Wiki Two enlarges the
\nvirtual anthology by exploring the rapidly changing perception of women
\nin faith leadership and how their participation will shape the future
\nchurch. <\/span><\/p>\n

You are invited, both men and women,
\nboth published and non-published authors and bloggers, to share your
\nperspective and experiences. Send the editors a 3-5 paragraph proposal
\nby May
\n15, 2009. <\/span><\/span>They
\nwill select fifty of the most visionary and thought provoking articles
\nfor a year-long interactive publication at Missional Tribe hub (link<\/a>)<\/span><\/span>. <\/span><\/span>Most
\nof these articles will also be selected for the final hard copy version
\nof the book.  Sister projects with traditional publishers are also
\non the radar.  Finished chapters should be maximum 3000 words and are
\ndue by July 31, 2009. Images, diagrams, photos, poetry, and resources
\nare welcomed.  A few guest authors have already been confirmed and 100%
\nof project proceeds will go to Emancipation Network (<\/span><\/font>http:\/\/www.madebysurvivors.com\/<\/a>).<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

The time for
\ndisenfranchisement and
\ndebating women’s “place” has passed.  Wikiklesia <\/span>Volume Two<\/em> <\/span>is dedicated to affirming and
\nlearning about women who, as passionate contributors, use their gifts
\nas well as serve alongside their brothers –reclaiming a unified image
\nfor the Body of Christ. The Editors are
\nlooking for stories from
\nthinkers <\/span>and<\/em> <\/span>doers who have dared to imagine
\nopportunities for women’s voices both within and beyond the traditional
\nframework of religious institutions and settings.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n

What wild
\nadventures and stories of those
\n“taking flight” are out there? <\/span><\/span>How
\nwill further progress be made? <\/span><\/span>How
\ncan future generations of women be inspired to realize their potential? <\/span><\/span>We need <\/span>your <\/span><\/em>stories – the courageous
\nvisionaries who are re-examining and re-imagining the roles of women of
\nfaith – to present a fresh, comprehensive view that will inspire women
\n(and men!) to look expectantly towards a positively transformed 21st<\/sup> <\/span>century ecclesia.<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n
