Some parts of the mountain remain in darkness, though not fully dark.<\/p>\n<p>In our faith <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/throughthelensoffaith\/files\/2016\/07\/IMG_4571.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-658\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/388\/2016\/07\/IMG_4571-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4571\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>life, there are moments that are fully illuminated, when we know deeply what we believe. It can be an amazing and life-giving time when we are fully aware.<\/p>\n<p>There are other parts of our faith life that remain in the darkness. It&#8217;s hard sometimes to understand why there are areas of darkness, but perhaps it is because having total illumination would be overwhelming.<\/p>\n<p>We need to learn to trust that we will see what is hidden when the time is right.<\/p>\n<p>Where are you finding the shadows and lights in your faith life?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love the way the sun is hitting only certain sections of this mountain.
