Even if it&#8217;s in the middle of a store. I didn&#8217;t sit in this particular seat, but I was tempted. It&#8217;s a seat that was similar to one I sat in growing up.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/throughthelensoffaith\/files\/2016\/05\/IMG_2481-e1462134280450.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-552 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/388\/2016\/05\/IMG_2481-e1462134280450-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_2481\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I think sitting in a rocking chair can be comforting. It can soothe a weary soul. Do you have a rocker at home? Maybe at a grandchild&#8217;s house?<\/p>\n<p>Next time you have the chance to sit in a rocker, picture God sitting there with you &#8212; maybe you want to sit on God&#8217;s lap? Or maybe you have a chair that&#8217;s big enough for the both of you to sit comfortably.<\/p>\n<p>When stress comes your way, take a deep breath and feel the rocking soothe your soul.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes you really need to take a seat.
