I love the fact that Jesus will look for the one out of 100 sheep that have wandered off. It gives me hope that God is looking after me and even when I have wandered off in my faith in the midst of struggle and has God&#8217;s eye on me even when I cannot figure out what road I am on.<\/p>\n<p>One of my favorite nursery rhymes when I was younger was &#8220;Mary had a little lamb&#8230;whose fleece was white as snow.&#8221; Though I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ve really seen a lamb with fleece as white as snow, maybe because they are very much part of the earth and nature. Our human nature isn&#8217;t white as snow, either. Yet God looks out for each of us, despite our wandering and our less than living snow white.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/throughthelensoffaith\/files\/2016\/01\/lamb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-443\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/388\/2016\/01\/lamb-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"lamb\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The parable of the lost sheep is one I appreciate more as the years go on.
