It is especially comforting when the sun seems to set <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/throughthelensoffaith\/files\/2015\/12\/candles.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-374 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/388\/2015\/12\/candles-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"candles\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>earlier and earlier.<\/p>\n<p>It is tempting to be overwhelmed by the darkness.<\/p>\n<p>But in our faith, we know that the darkness is followed by the light. On Christmas day, all the light of the world was poured out into a little baby.<\/p>\n<p>We need to search for the light in this season. Are there people in your life who would qualify as light for your lives?<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps buy a special gift for them of a candle!
