I love looking at the way the roots overlap and consider how <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/throughthelensoffaith\/files\/2017\/06\/IMG_1101-e1500517835828.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1000 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/388\/2017\/06\/IMG_1101-e1500517835828-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1101\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>deep they dig into the soil. I love how unique each tree has branches that are so many you can&#8217;t even count.<\/p>\n<p>The thing that strikes me about this tree is the way the leaves are raised toward the sky. It seems like a prayer is being offered &#8212; palms raised toward the heavens.<\/p>\n<p>When you pray, do you raise your palms upward? Do you acknowledge God in that way?
