It is a time to be grateful for our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beliefnet.com\/columnists\/throughthelensoffaith\/files\/2017\/06\/IMG_1242.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1010\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/388\/2017\/06\/IMG_1242-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1242\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a>independence in our country and with our faith.<\/p>\n<p>But along with independence, it is important to recognize our dependence on God in our lives. We need to continually pray and recognize this dependence. It is through this dependence we can be free.<\/p>\n<p>Do you feel free in your faith journey? Or do you feel that too much independence has taken you away from where you need to be? Try this week to find a balance between the two.
