She weighs 7 pounds 1 ounce and is 20 inches long. We were very glad to finally meet her. So far, she is eating and sleeping well, and we are grateful.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Penny and William came to visit yesterday in the hospital, just five hours after their baby sister was born. William seemed a little confused about whether the baby was still in mommy&#8217;s belly or whether this little creature nearby was actually his sister. Someone in my family made the brilliant suggestion that we host a birthday party for Marilee, so Penny and William sang Happy Birthday. When given the choice to hug Marilee or eat cupcakes, they both opted to start with the cupcakes.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>All told, we are a happy family with many adjustments ahead.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I&#8217;ve set up blog posts for the next few weeks, so keep checking in.
