Some things to think about:
\nThe world is can be a scary and dangerous place.\u00a0 The Bible is clear about this: there are beings about intent on ruining our lives and thwarting our relationship with our Father.\u00a0 But Jesus here invites us to call upon God to intervene and direct our lives clear of enemy intervention.\u00a0 Notice here that Jesus does not promise that we will be kept from the fight, simply that we will be delivered through it!<\/p>\n
Some things to do:
\nPaul, in Ephesians 6 outlines the game plan for Christians dealing with enemy assault.\u00a0 The way God \u201cleads us not into temptation\u201d and \u201cdelivers from the evil one\u201d is by providing us with armor for our battle.\u00a0 This week take time to \u201cput on\u201d this armor as you get dressed in the morning.\u00a0 It\u2019s a good time to \u201cfit\u201d yourself with the protection God has provided for you.
\nBelt of truth (holds all the armor in place and protects our loins)
\nBreastplate of righteousness (guards our heart and conscience)
\nShoes of the gospel (prepare us to move with purpose and direction)
\nShield of faith (extinguishes the offensive arrows of the enemy)
\nHelmet of salvation (guards our thoughts)
\nSword of the Spirit (our one offensive weapon \u2013 the Word of God)<\/p>\n

\nHow has the enemy attempted to lead you to distraction?\u00a0 How have you fought these attacks?\u00a0 Does God ever tempt us?
