ARISE<\/p>\n

As nature slowly awakens,<\/p>\n

And slowly opens her eyes,<\/p>\n

Another new dawn on spring,<\/p>\n

And slowly brightening skies.<\/p>\n

A spark of inspiration,<\/p>\n

Another touch of sun,<\/p>\n

Amongst a snowy blanket,<\/p>\n

Another winters nearly done.<\/p>\n

And at the coldest time of year,<\/p>\n

The smallest beasts arrive,<\/p>\n

And grow the smallest seedlings,<\/p>\n

We pray they all survive.<\/p>\n

Its here we plant our wishes,<\/p>\n

And steadily watch them grow,<\/p>\n

With good intentions throughout the year,<\/p>\n

And a fruitful bright tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Blue skies; green trees for cover,<\/p>\n

Brown earth; she is your bed,<\/p>\n

Bird chorus; your alarm clock,<\/p>\n

Spring grass; to rest your head.<\/p>\n
