Today is the Winter Solstice, the first day of winter. The beginning point of the return of the light.<\/em><\/p>\n

Deep night, Dark night<\/p>\n

Night of the longest sigh<\/p>\n

Soulful night, Sacred night<\/p>\n

Night of the longest dreams<\/p>\n

Cold night, Holy night<\/p>\n

Night of unfurling desires<\/p>\n

Womb of the world, Birther of hope<\/p>\n

Bringer of peace and good will<\/p>\n

Pray, pray for all good things<\/p>\n

That suffering for all will end<\/p>\n

That life will thrive and generosity reign<\/p>\n

In the hearts of all humankind<\/p>\n

That joy will rise and children will fly<\/p>\n

On wings of prosperity<\/p>\n

Oh hear our plea, this silent night<\/p>\n

When the moon is round in the sky<\/p>\n

When hopes are high and eyes are wide<\/p>\n

with delight and audacity<\/p>\n

May Love prevail tonight, and always<\/p>\n

Leading us back to our Source<\/p>\n

May we dance with the dark, without hesitation or fear<\/p>\n

And savor her promise of plenty<\/p>\n

Deep night<\/p>\n

Dark night<\/p>\n

Night of the longest sigh<\/p>\n

May our weary hearts stay vigilant and receptive<\/p>\n

To all that is loving and dear<\/p>\n
