I love plenty
\nso much more than less,
\nthat generous expanse
\nopening,
\nlifting outwards,
\nwheels of petals,
\nnew green leaves.
\nSo much better than
\nclosing down,
\npulling inward,
\ninside the husk of things.<\/p>\n

So off with skins
\nand belts and too tight shells!
\nGrow new cells,
\narms and legs and hands.
\nIf you must be fish,
\nthen be a starfish,
\nswim through galaxies
\nof glittering foam;
\nif bird, then fly
\nbeyond the tallest tree
\nand mountain nest;
\nif star,
\nspin off to distant constellations,
\nfarthest milky ways.<\/p>\n

Even if housebound,
\nclean your closets,
\nmake new rooms
\nto decorate with magic stones
\nfeathers from your journeys
\nthrough the open windows of your heart.<\/p>\n
