The One Flaw In Women\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Women have strengths that amaze men…..<\/p>\n

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,<\/p>\n

but they hold happiness, love and joy.<\/p>\n

They smile when they want to scream.<\/p>\n

They sing when they want to cry.<\/p>\n

They cry when they are happy<\/p>\n

and laugh when they are nervous.<\/p>\n

They fight for what they believe in.<\/p>\n

They stand up to injustice.<\/p>\n

They don’t take “no” for an answer<\/p>\n

when they believe there is a better solution.<\/p>\n

They go without so their family can have.<\/p>\n

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.<\/p>\n

They love unconditionally.<\/p>\n

They cry when their children excel<\/p>\n

and cheer when their friends get awards.<\/p>\n

They are happy when they hear about<\/p>\n

a birth or a wedding.<\/p>\n

Their hearts break when a friend dies.<\/p>\n

They grieve at the loss of a family member,<\/p>\n

yet they are strong when they<\/p>\n

think there is no strength left.<\/p>\n

They know that a hug and a kiss<\/p>\n

can heal a\u00a0broken heart.<\/p>\n

Women\u00a0come in all shapes, sizes and colors.<\/p>\n

They’ll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you<\/p>\n

to show how much they care about you.<\/p>\n

The heart of a woman is what<\/p>\n

makes the world keep turning.<\/p>\n

They bring joy, hope and love.<\/p>\n

They have compassion and ideas.<\/p>\n

They give moral support to their<\/p>\n

family and friends.<\/p>\n

Women have vital things to say<\/p>\n

and everything to give.<\/p>\n

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS\u00a0ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,<\/p>\n

IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This poem has been making the email rounds for quite some time. I have received it many times. I googled it to see if I could find who had written it, and found pages and pages of websites and blogs that have printed it \u2014 all without attribution. Not even the un-name, Anonymous.<\/em><\/p>\n

Interesting that the author of these good words did not heed them when it came time for her to claim ownership of her own work.<\/em><\/p>\n

How many of us do that? Don\u2019t stake a claim to our own accomplishments? Feel demure in the presence of recognition or praise. Don\u2019t embrace our successes?<\/p>\n

It is high time to claim our Self-worth, isn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n
