\"WomensMarch\"<\/a>In honor of International Women’s Day, I’m inviting women around the world to adopt this “Women’s Declaration of Interdependence” …<\/strong><\/p>\n

We hold these truths to be self-evident:<\/p>\n

That all women are created equal,
\nbut each is blessed with different gifts and talents.<\/p>\n

That all women are endowed with certain individual rights,
\nbut each must assume shared responsibilities.<\/p>\n

For the happiness of all depends on the commitment of each
\nto support both equality and individuality \u2013
\nboth rights and responsibilities.<\/p>\n

We declare all women to be mutually interdependent \u2013
\nbanding together to support one another,
\nsharing our experience, strength, and hope \u2013
\nthat all may enjoy life, love, and the pursuit of laughter.<\/p>\n

We agree to encourage one another in tough times
\nand celebrate in good times.<\/p>\n

We commit to taking turns leading and following,
\ninspiring and teaching,
\nlistening and learning.<\/p>\n

We agree to give credit where credit is due \u2013
\nincluding us.<\/p>\n

We commit to loving ourselves first \u2013
\nbecause we can’t give what we don’t have.<\/p>\n

With this Declaration of Interdependence, we set ourselves free …
\nfree from old beliefs that are no longer true;
\nfree from self-doubt, insecurity, and loneliness;
\nfree from self-imposed perfectionism.<\/p>\n

We set ourselves free …
\nheeding our intuition in all her guises;
\nloving our bodies through every change;
\nfinding our voices to speak our own truths.<\/p>\n

We set ourselves free …
\nto create fulfilling work,
\nform nurturing families,
\nand build great friendships.<\/p>\n

We are strong;
\nwe are beautiful;
\nwe are generous;
\nwe are wise.<\/p>\n

We are women …
