Emilia: “And do angels have wings?”<\/p>\n

Me: “I think so.”<\/p>\n

Emilia: “Does that mean that they’re fairies?”<\/p>\n

Me: “Um… no. Fairies are different.”<\/p>\n

Emilia: “But fairies have wings.”<\/p>\n

Me: “Yes.”<\/p>\n

Emilia: “And fairies are magic. Angels are magic, too.”<\/p>\n

Me: “Well… not exactly.”<\/p>\n

Emilia: “But they FLY. And flying is MAGIC.”<\/p>\n

Me: “Well, in a way, but…”<\/p>\n

Emilia: “And Tinkerbell has wings and flies and is magic.”<\/p>\n

Me: “Yes, but…”<\/p>\n

Emilia: “So Grandpa is like Tinkerbell.”<\/p>\n

I think that I lost that round. So, I think, did Grandpa. Or not. I suppose it very much depends on his view of sparkly minidresses and glitter-wands.<\/p>\n
