Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Genesis 9:15<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Remember<\/strong> the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced&#8230;I Chronicles 16:12<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Remember<\/strong> to extol his work, which people have praised in song. Job 36:24<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On my bed I <strong>remember<\/strong> you; I think of you through the watches of the night.\u00a0Psalm 63:<\/p>\n<p><em>I <strong>remember<\/strong>ed my songs in the night. \u00a0Psalm 77:6<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Remember<\/strong> your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, \u201cI find no pleasure in them\u201d\u2014 Ecclesiastes 12:1<br \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Remember<\/strong> the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. Isaiah 46:9<a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/260\/2011\/11\/imagesCA0350GC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1185\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/260\/2011\/11\/imagesCA0350GC.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"277\" height=\"182\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>All the ends of the earth will <strong>remember<\/strong> and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him&#8230;Psalm 22:2<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Remember<\/strong>, LORD, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. Psalm 25:6<\/p>\n<p><em>Do not <strong>remember<\/strong> the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love <strong>remember<\/strong> me, for you, LORD, are good. Psalm 25:7<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and <strong>remember<\/strong>s your sins no more. Isaiah 43:25<\/p>\n<p>The rainbow photos are of rainbows in Hawaii, where I grew up. \u00a0I remember my mom telling people that she loves Hawaii because it&#8217;s the only place she&#8217;s been where you can see a rainbow every day.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/260\/2011\/11\/imagesCATCKUZR.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1187\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/260\/2011\/11\/imagesCATCKUZR.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"259\" height=\"195\" \/><\/a>As breathtaking as they are to see, the great thing about rainbows is that they exist because of a promise God made long ago after the great flood to never completely destroy the earth by water again. \u00a0Every time I see a rainbow, I&#8217;m reminded of God&#8217;s love and faithfulness.<\/p>\n<p>God not only says that He will <em><strong>remember<\/strong><\/em> His promises, He promises that He will <strong><em>not remember<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0our sins. \u00a0How wonderful is that?<\/p>\n<p>We are instructed to <em><strong>r<\/strong><strong>emember<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0what God has done in the past. \u00a0One of the real beauties of the Bible is that it tells us of God&#8217;s great works and gives us great examples to remember. \u00a0However, it goes beyond that&#8211;God wants us to remember the work He has done in our lives individually. \u00a0This serves two purposes: \u00a0it helps me to remember that God has always been with me which fills my heart with praise and gratitude, and it strengthens my faith when faced with tough circumstances in my present. \u00a0As I remember how He has been faithful in the past, I realize that He is able to do it again and this gives me confidence to move forward, even when the way isn&#8217;t clear.<\/p>\n<p>Think about Him and His promises. \u00a0Remember how He has cared for you. \u00a0Remember His great love. \u00a0Remember His faithfulness&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Remember the rainbows.<a href=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/260\/2011\/11\/imagesCAU17RMG.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1188\" src=\"https:\/\/wp-media.beliefnet.com\/sites\/260\/2011\/11\/imagesCAU17RMG.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"252\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0&#8220;I will remember the deeds of the \u00a0Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.
