Chris Pratt has a teenager now, and he shared the news with some rare family photos. Pratt\u2019s eldest son, Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris is 13 now, with Pratt taking to social media to share the news. \u201c”I have a teenager???” wrote the disbelieving father of four<\/a>. “Jack, I can’t believe you are 13 today. I’ve watched you grow into such an incredible young man, and am truly proud of the person you are becoming.” The post included the two in matching \u201cPratt\u201d jerseys and doing various father-son activities. He ended the post with \u201cI love you! Jesus is King!”<\/p>\n

Pratt has been very protective of images of his children, with the few posts he does allow obscuring his children\u2019s faces or showing them from behind. He also has three children with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger: daughters Lyla and Eloise and son Ford. Pratt has spoken about how Jack has embraced his role as big brother. \u201cThere\u2019s a big age separation\u2026 [and] he does a great job, he\u2019s so sweet with them. And they love him so much,\u201d he told Entertainment Tonight<\/em><\/a>. <\/em><\/p>\n

Jack had a rough start in the world, coming seven weeks early and weighing only 3 pounds, 10 ounces. It had a profound impact on Pratt and his faith. \u201cThe most impactful moment was when my son was born,\u201d he said in a previous interview. \u201cHe was born early and had some health scares, and in that moment, I really made some deals with God, as you do when you’re praying, and I felt like if you save my son, I will give you everything. I’ll give you my life. I’ll give you my platform. I won’t be ashamed to talk to you or talk about you. And he did save my son, and I’ve been trying to make good on that promise ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schwarzenegger has also spoken about her role as a stepmom. \u201cStepparenting, like parenting, has no handbook,\u201d she said while on appearing on \u201cParenting & You With Dr. Shefali.\u201d \u201cBecause I have the benefit of being in both roles. Step-parenting is extra confusing because you aren\u2019t a parent, you\u2019re not a nanny, you\u2019re not an assistant. You have responsibilities in all of those areas but you\u2019re not either of them.\u201d Pratt has praised his wife\u2019s acceptance of her role. \u201children are children and they\u2019re on their own paths,\u201d he shared on the podcast. \u201cThey\u2019re probably having to continually process the fact that they are children of divorce. If a parent is in there doing the hard work of creating structure for a child and holding children accountable, and it\u2019s not a biological child, it can feel thankless.
